A postgraduate-level module open to students across the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHaSS), consisting of two streams: introductory and intermediate. As part of a three-year part-time secondment to FHaSS, I designed and delivered the intermediate stream of the module (HSS8005+) as a continuation course in applied statistics and probability for the understanding of society and culture. Using real-life examples from published research, the course emphasizes the scientific application of regression models, the practice of reproducible research workflows, and the communication of statistical results to diverse audiences.
